Day 5: From Krakow to Zakopane
Continuing the journey towards Tatras mountains

Departing Krakow in the cloudy morning
The traffic in Krakow is always busy, especially on the roads leading into and out of the city. It was cloudy, but at least dry.

We had some rain during the ride, including one storm with heavy rain.
Harenda near Zakopane
Our apartment was in Harenda, about 3 km from Zakopane. There was a ski slope nearby.
After unpacking, we went to a nearby restaurant to eat and then walked around a bit.

We have seen many wooden churches in Poland during this tour. There was one in Harenda as well. Its interior was nicely decorated, because there was a religios holiday that day.

We rode 145 km today. The total travel distance on this trip so far, was 1,079 km.
