Day 16: From Gratangen to Melbu
Continuing the Lofoten tour
Second day of the Lofoten tour
After breakfast in the morning, we put our things back on the bike and set off again. Our destination today was an island off the coast of Lofoten. I had chosen it because it was not too expensive. The hotels on Lofoten were far too expensive for my budget. The road there was not the main tourist route, so there was not that much traffic. The landscape was still beautiful. In Melbu, we explored the town on foot and had dinner in the only open restaurant in town. We opted for fish, which had been recommended to us by another guest in a restaurant. Melbu is a small, sleepy town with not much going on.
We covered a total of 201 km today, the total trip counter showed 5,174 km.
