Day 4: Copenhagen sightseeing
Getting arround in Copenhagen
Copenhagen has a very good public transportation system. You can download an app (DOT app) and buy tickets via this app, which is very convenient. Google Maps also has accurate information about the schedules so it can calculate the route for you, and now you even have a live view if you point your camera at the surroundings and you see arrows where you need to go. Super handy and very efficient.
The trains are wide and there are special places for people with bicycles. In Copenhagen there are two bicycles per person.

There is also a temple in Copenhagen, which I visited in the morning.

Around noon I went to the pedestrian zone in the center, which was full of people. There was all kinds of entertainment on the street.

Afterwards, I bought a hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus tour of Copenhagen. Two most notable attractions in the city are a Mermaid statue and a statue of H. C. Andersen, a famous fairy tale writer. He was not famous while he was alive, he became famous after his death.

I also stopped at the "Our Lady's Church" where Danish-Icelandic sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen created a famous statue of Christ and twelwe apostles.

Bycicle is very practical form of transportation in Copenhagen. You can take the bycicle in the train and then ride around on it.

I have seen some buildings with very unusual architecture on the train ride back to my place.

When I arrived to my train stop I witnessed a quick change of weather. All of a sudden a storm with heavy rain arrived. I didn't have the umbrella and even if I had it it wouldn't be of much help. So I just waited for about 30 minutes for the storm to move away and then went to my place.
